Background

MCL Insurance Services (Ireland) Ltd and its related brands Its4women.ie, 25plus.ie and Boxymo.ie had traditionally outsourced its direct debit payments to Close Premium Finance Ltd (CPF). This had worked well as Dotsys were able to integrate the third-party payment provider into the E-volve platform. However, with Brexit requirements MCL Insurance Services (Ireland) Ltd required a new solution from 1st December 2020 when the business was being transferred into the new Irish regulated entity.

Requirements

The current CPF worked well but as an online company MCL Insurance Services (Ireland) Ltd wanted any new system to enable customers to manage their own payments online. The current CPF system was not able to provide this.

Delivery

Dotstys started work on the project to write a complete Direct Debit management system in Aug 2020 for delivery at the beginning of November for testing to go live at the 1st December. The system would require:

Create multiple payment plans for new business and renewals.

Customer Documentation.

Ability to change bank details/payment dates/Early settlement.

Integration to portal for self service for default payments and changing details.

Link to bank to send and receive payments.

Reporting tools to monitor performance.

Dotsys delivered the project within budget and on time for MCL to meet its transactional period.
