AIG Ireland are part of one of the world largest insurance companies. AIG Ireland provided Car, Home, Travel and Car Hire Excess cover direct to consumers in Ireland. While they had a direct-to-consumer website most business was still purchased over the telephone and their current solution did not cater for online adjustments and renewals.
AIG wanted to move quickly into the digital world with a cloud-based system that from an insurers point of view enabled them to react quickly market conditions and secondly would enable their customers to manage all of their insurance requirements online. The project also had the requirement of migrating all of AIGs existing customers from their current system to the Dotsys E-volve platform.
This projected resulted in Dotsys providing the following:
1. New front-end quote and buy facility for Motor, Home, Travel and Car Hire Excess waiver insurance.
2. Customer portal to enable online MTA, Document management & upload, renewals etc.
3. New telematics policy branded as “Boxclever”.
4. Replacement of the existing AIG policy management system with E-volve.
5. Migrating all AIG existing customers to E-volve

self service all increasing enabling AIG to reduce its policy administration costs
